Digihaler Dashboard Library

Achieved WCAG 2.0 compliance by addressing >80% of ‘critical’ and ‘severe’ tickets for dev implementation to support launched product releases in the US, EU, and GB

Skills: WCAG 2.0 accessibility design, design library organization

This project was a relatively quick but extensive rework of interactive components across the dashboard. Following a readout from an accessibility audit at the end of the development cycle (just prior to launch) I was tasked with implementing the necessary changes across the project. Many of the tickets were related to color contrast as it related to interactive states of elements across the product. I applied a consistent treatment across the elements in order to allow for efficient implementation and set a foundation for establishing a consistent design system.

This was an effort expected to be delayed until the next release, but I worked quickly to successfully organize and push the updates into the current version, going live in multiple countries!

See a snapshot below of how the UI styles were organized for easy use and application for the design, dev, and product teams!
